Betrayal

Innocence in white,

Seeking the light,

As Evil ascends in the darkness of night.

Organ exuding in glorious might,

Colors reflect on startling white.

As choirs chant.

Processions progress. While petal are strune. Lilies carried in the light of the moon!

Organ ascends to music divine,

As children listen,

In rapture sublime.

The Monstrance is carried,

Beneath a canopy of light,

No hands may touch this vessel of might.

Incense is wafting

From the chained delight,

As smoke rises,

Candles flicker in the darkness of night.

The Children watch enthralled!
